Performance websites for tourism
Become part of the 5% of the web.
Less than 5% of websites score 95+ on PageSpeed mobile. I rebuild slow hotel, villa, and tour-operator sites into that top 5%. $4,800. Three weeks. Solo, from Athens.
Proof, not promises
Live sites. Real businesses. All in the top 5%.
These are sites I built and operate across multiple industries — same performance playbook for tourism. PageSpeed scores below update weekly. Click any of them to verify the score yourself on Google PageSpeed Insights.

One detailed example
oliverentals.gr — from 31 to 97 in three weeks.
Luxury villa rental site on aging WordPress with a booking plugin and heavy hero photography. Mobile users on 4G were waiting 7 seconds for the first villa to render — most of them gave up. Migrated to a hand-built Astro site with edge-cached availability data and width-aware images.
Before
- Page weight
- 6.4 MB
- LCP (mobile)
- 7.2s
- Time to interactive
- 9.1s
After
- Page weight
- 220 KB
- LCP (mobile)
- 0.8s

- 1.1s
What I changed
- Killed the page builder. Replaced the Elementor + booking plugin stack with semantic HTML rendered at build time. Removed ~420 KB of JavaScript on first load.
- Width-aware AVIF photography. Hero villa shots went from 1.8 MB to 36 KB on mobile, with no visible quality loss. Each villa thumbnail loads only what the viewport actually needs.
- Edge-cached availability. Booking calendar data sits at the Cloudflare edge, refreshed every 10 minutes — no PHP, no DB call on the critical path.
- Self-hosted one font. One subset variable WOFF2 instead of three Google Fonts. Saved 4 render-blocking requests.
Pricing
Public pricing. Fixed scope. Written guarantee.
Most agencies hide pricing because it is negotiable. Mine is not. Same prices for everyone. Roughly a third of what a US agency quotes for the same scope.
