No cookies. One localStorage entry. That's it.

What I do not set

• No first-party HTTP cookies of any kind.
• No third-party advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight, none).
• No remarketing or behavioural cookies.
• No fingerprinting scripts.

What I do store in your browser

A single localStorage entry under the key mm_consent. Its value is a small JSON object recording:

• Whether you accepted or rejected anonymous analytics.
• The timestamp of your choice.
• The version of the consent schema (so I know to ask again if it materially changes).

This entry exists so the consent banner does not pester you on every visit. It is read locally by your browser and is never sent to me or to any third party. You can wipe it any time via your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data.

If you accept analytics

The site loads Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless page-view counter run by Cloudflare. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint, and does not identify you. It counts which pages were viewed and roughly where in the world (country level). I use this to understand which sections of the site convert. You can opt out at any time via the consent banner.

If you reject analytics

The Cloudflare Web Analytics script is never loaded. No analytics-related network request leaves your browser. The only thing stored is the mm_consent entry recording your "reject" choice.

Third-party services on this site

A few external links open third-party services in a new tab. None of them set cookies on michaelmorakis.com — they only apply once you click through:

• Cal.com — for booking 15-minute calls.
• WhatsApp (wa.me) — for chat-based contact.
• PageSpeed Insights (Google) — to verify scores on demand.
• Google Favicons API — site icons in the Proof Grid (loaded lazily, no cookies set on this domain).
