Build the next 5% of the web with us.
Michael Morakis is the front of the brand. Behind it is a small team of creatives, editors, and developers operating morax.gr, snapium.gr, symbols.gr, morakisawards.gr — and a growing roster of white-label client builds. Remote-first, Athens-based, always hiring the right person ahead of the right role.
What it's like to work here
- Remote-first. Most of the team is in Greece, some in the diaspora. Quarterly meetups in Athens.
- Performance is the religion. Every site we ship targets 95+ PageSpeed mobile. We measure. We iterate.
- Plain-English contracts, plain-English code. No 800-line files, no buzzword stacks. Astro, TypeScript, Cloudflare. Boring tech that ships fast.
- Operator mindset. Every person on the team is encouraged to launch a side project. The brands we operate started this way.
- No interruption culture. Async-first. Two daily focus blocks per person, no meetings allowed.
Open roles (always)
We don't post fixed job listings — we hire when we meet the right person. If any of these describe you, get in touch:
Senior frontend / full-stack engineer
- 3+ years shipping production websites or SaaS
- Deep on Astro, Next.js, or SvelteKit
- Performance fluent — knows what an LCP is and why it matters
- Comfortable owning a feature end to end (design review, build, deploy, support)
Editor / content lead
- Native English writer (Greek a plus)
- Experience writing for SaaS, agencies, or hospitality
- Can edit Michael's drafts mercilessly. Plain-English fundamentalism preferred.
- Bonus: SEO + content strategy fluency
Brand / product designer
- Strong identity work AND strong product surfaces
- Figma fluent, can hand off pixel-perfect specs
- Cares about typography and motion at the same level as layout
- Comfortable working alongside engineering, not throwing files over the wall
Operations / project lead
- Run multiple concurrent white-label builds without dropping balls
- Clear writer, calm under deadline, polite under chaos
- Comfortable with Cal.com, Notion, Linear, Slack
How to apply

- One paragraph on why you want to work here specifically (not generic).

- Optional: anything else you want me to see.
I read every email personally and reply within 7 days, usually within 2. First conversation is 30 minutes on Cal.com or WhatsApp.
What we won't do
- Whiteboard interviews.
- 5-round panel processes.
- "Take-home tests" longer than 2 hours.
- Lowball offers.
Looking forward. Always.
